The Dentdale Beast is released! But don't be scared, there's also a Beauty!
The Dentdale Beauty & The Beast is a brand new sportive designed to show off the wealth of untapped road riding in and around the picturesque Dentdale valley in the Yorkshire Dales.
150 Currently registered for the challenge so should be a great event!

Online registration closes Wednesday 23rd May 2012.
Entries will be taken on the day (please bring the right money!).

Courses
Beauty Ride - 14 miles around the beautiful Dentdale valley, ideal for leisure riders and families.
The Beastie - a hard 50 miles over 3 epic climbs, starting and finishing in the beautiful Dentdale valley. 1,150m of ascent.
The Beast - a severe 80 mile test over 4 epic climbs in and around Dentdale, includes the Coal Road, Nateby Common, Buttertubs and Kingsdale. 1,730m of ascent.

The three course options have been designed to extract the best riding Dentdale has to offer and will provide riders with a great mixture of challenging terrain in stunning surroundings.
Dent is a beautiful village nested in the centre of the valley and will host the event on Saturday 26th May 2012. Family and friends are encouraged to make a weekend of it and stay in the village at the superbly equipped High Laning Farm Campsite, the Pubs and Guest Houses of the village or the well appointed self catered cottages.
Cost
Beauty Ride - £5 per rider
The Beastie - £15.00
The Beast - £25.00
Proceeds
Proceeds from the event will go to Dent Pre-School and Dent Primary School.
